Teaching and Learning with "Passport to Weather and Climate" (29:30)
Educator Program B has 4 main sections:
1) "The P2K Model" uses scenes from past and ongoing PASSPORT TO KNOWLEDGE projects to provide suggestions and encouragement for implementing PASSPORT TO WEATHER AND CLIMATE
2) "The Classroom Videos" uses short introductions to each program to summarize key content, and suggests sample Hands-On Activities and some of the most important Science Standards which can be met
3) "Hands-On Activities" Master Teachers demonstrate key activities from the Teacher's Guide, showing how to implement "Hurricane Houses," "Doppler Radar in a Shoebox," and "Making Weather in Class" (the latter comprising 6 sub-activities.)
4) Reminders of the website address, online resources from NOAA, NASA and others, and how to contact P2K.
