PASSPORT TO KNOWLEDGE, twice a Finalist in the prestigious National and Global Information Infrastructure Awards, leads the way in some of the most creative uses of the Internet for delivering learning experiences.
For each Module, a visually rich website offers online opportunities for students to interact with world-class scientists, and peers in remote locations. The site also offers profiles of researches working in the field (BIOgraphies and FIELD JOURNALS) and appearing in the videos, as well as links to valuable resources, and e-mail discussion groups for teachers and students. The site also allows students to send questions to, and receive answers from, featured researchers (RESEARCHER Q&A).
