The skies in Massachusetts should be ok early in the evening with clouds coming in late. Our entire 8th grade (230 students) will do a star count around 8 pm and another at the beginning of totality. It is an optional activity for seventh and 6th. From what I hear about 80% of the school's 600+ kids should be out in their yards with their sophisticate equipment counting the stars and classifying the color. I have a 500mm lens on loan for the weekend. I'm planning on shooting an entire series from 8:30 until clouds!
