Who designed the Mars Global Surveyor, and where?

Mars Global Surveyor was desgined by a team of engineers and scientists.
Most of the science instruments and mission objectives were inherited from
the Mars Observer mission, which was terminated prematurely when contact
with the spacecraft was lost in 1993.  The Mars Global Surveyor was built by
Lockheed Martin Astronautics in Denver, Colorado, with the scientific
instruments provided by several different scientific institutions.  The
project is managed for NASA by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory which is a
division of the California Institute of Technology.
