How many orbits made around the earth since it has been sent up to space?

ANSWER from Mike Wenz on April 30, 1996:
On April 15th (my Daughter's 5th birthday), HST started orbit number 32,584.

The telescope goes around the earth about once every 90 minutes, so you can 
easily figure out how many orbits it has done by dividing the time since
April 15th into 90 minutes increments and adding them to 32,584.

The telescope is suppose to keep working until the year 2005. Can you figure
out how many orbits it will have made by then?
