What is the life expectancy of HST?

ANSWER from Kathy Southall on 15 April, 1996:
Currently, we have a Second Servicing Mission in 1997, a
Third Servicing Mission in 1999, and the end of life was
supposed to be around 2004.  But according to NASA tradition
with satellites, the HST will probably be around longer than
that (depending on funding, of course).
