How much does a Flight Controller make?  My salary is somewhere between
that of a rock and a rock star.  Starting pay for a new hire (someone
fresh out of college with a BS degree) is around $30,000. Is that a lot? 
How much your pay increases depends on your experience in the field, your
level of education and the contractor (company) that you work for. 
Someone who has worked in the Space Operations industry for 30 years
(longer than you & I have been alive) could make $80,000 per year
(including overtime).
